Happy New Year! 2009.12.31
December 31, 2009. We went to the Seattle Center, had dinner, saw Avatar in the Imax theatre, and stayed for fireworks.
We had to wait about 2 hours from the end of the movie until the fireworks. It was cold, dry at times, foggy at times, raining at times, and misting the rest of the time. In other words, a fine December evening in Seattle. There were maybe 20,000 folks waiting for the show, all in good humor, all well behaved. In other words a fine Seattle crowd.
At the end of the show, I said to my wife, "That was SO worth it!" And she agreed. What a great way to spend New Years Eve!
