Segovia
Segovia may be the most spectacularly situated cities in Spain. The old town sits atop a rocky spur, surrounded by rivers. It is sometimes compared to a ship: The Alcazar on a sharp outcrop forms the bow; The cathedral spires are the masts; and the Aqueduct trails behind like a rudder. Sunset views of old Segovia from the valley below are spectacular. These pictures were taken in March, 1998.
