Inverewe Gardens
It's probably time we talked about the roads in Scotland. While most are conventional, there are many very narrow single-track roads. Just wide enough for a small car, they have wider passing points every so often. Once you get the hang of these, they work fine but they are slow. Our trip out to the Inverewe Gardens was mostly on these narrow single-track roads.
The gardens themselves were along the western coast in a place where there is a pocket of warm climated weather. this allows for exotic plants of all kinds and the garden has them Very cool. Worth the cruel drive to see them.
Next stop; Loch Ness.
