This pass was not very high in absolute altitude but it was high enough for strong winter winds and weather to scrub it clean of a lot of trees. And it was high enough to summer graze cattle. To my eye it was picture postcard dramatic.
I wonder if the people of Scotland become immune to the charm and beauty of their country. Around every corner there was something interesting and lovely to look at, like this un-named castle just along the road. Taking this photo was a near death experience because I had to stand on a freeway off ramp with cars whizzing by while I waited for the sun to brighten up the scene.
