Budir: Near the hotel was this marvelous country church. We didn't realize it at the time but we would see many many churches like this. They might hold 20-30 people, and were almost always built in the middle-of-nowhere because the middle of nowhere was equidistant from many small somewheres.

Budir: The mountains to the north were punctuated by lots of tall waterfalls where a stream or small river would wander down the hillside and fall off the edge. Comfortably warm this time of year, the melting glaciers fed the streems and rivers. Over the next 3 weeks we would overdose on water falls but for now these were all unique and unusual in my experience.
