Road to Marrakech
As we cross the High Atlas mountains, I have a feeling of returning from a distant planet to a more familiar place. As we climb the eastern slopes, we leave behind the hot dry desert. And as we descend the western slopes, we return to the fertile part of Morocco ... the part that supports a larger population, cities ... civilization.
